Movie Review: Rugrats in Paris

Hello, spongey here.

Last time, I looked at the rugrats movie. I still stand by what I said, which is that it’s really good. It had good animation, catchy (if weird) songs, and a very strong story

‘the movie made tons of money at the box office, and when that happens, they make a sequel!

Sequels are hit or miss. Some are great and are even better than the original (The Dark Knight)

Some are…Never-ending story 3.

But sequels mostly are just…okay to me. They aren’t awful enough for me to hate them, or good enough for me to love them.

So is the sequel to the rugrats movie any good? Let’s find out.

This, is Rugrats in Paris.

NOT SO BRIEF PLOT SUMMARY:

I won’t go into nearly as much detail as for the first film. Infact, I won’t say too much. But I will say quite a bit..

The film opens and ends with a spoof of…the godfather. Surprisingly, it works. Also it’s funny as hell. It’s implied angleica actually saw the godfather, and her parents debate if they should of let her or not.

Best parents ever.

So anyway…

Chuckie and his dad have been living happily in the series, but I’ve always wondered…where’s his mom? Seriously, did she die? Did chaz get divorced? WHAT?!

Well this movie tells us. You see, mom…died. And they talk about her watching chuckie in heaven.

Yikes.

Yes, the scene where chuckie And chaz talk about this is depressing.

Yep, this is a Rugrats movie all right.

Anyway, meanwhile in paris, stu’s …giant repatar robot he made for a amusement park owner lady named coco le bouche, has broken down because…it’s made by stu. I bet if he made a spoon it would blow up somehow.

Coco wants Stu to come over and fix it, so she has her assistant call Stu. Stu is kinda…sleeping so he doesn’t get the message at first. It’s pretty funny.

So Stu and the family are off to pars. Realistically, only stu could go on such short notice, but if I can believe talking babies, I can get with this.

So later, we find out that coco wants to be president of a company, and as it turns the current pres is stepping down./

Oh, and he’s voiced by mako.

Yes, iroh from avatar.

Aku from Samurai jack

]THAT mako.

So anyway, he tells coco to be the president, you need heart, and need to know about kids. Angelica is in the room, hiding from coco as she eats some of her chocolate (stu was there to discuss the repatar robot) and overheard all this.

Coco finds her and angelica tells coco about chaz, who is very desperate for a wife. So Coco decides to try to hook up with chaz to get in with the president.

Oh, and on the plane chuckie starts feeling sad that he has no mommy.

Then we get the song “I want a mom that will last forever”

It’s a major tear jerker, on par with the first movie!

So chuckie soon gets obsessed with chaz and coco, being excited that he will get a mommy. He sees a princess in a parade and soon knows he wants a princess mommy.

And I don’t want to spoil too much of the character development,. I will spoil three cool things

1, there’s another big lipped alligator moment with singing sumo wrestlers...one of which is tim curry

Cuz if you have tim curry, he must sing.

2. there’s a dream scene with a song called Chuckie chan, which is the best thing ever put on film

3. Stu’s new robot is a giant Godzilla sized robot which you control with these helmet/glove things. Later, the babies learn coco is evil, and she leaves them with her assistant while she goes off and gets married. The babies want to get to the church so chuckie can own up and take her down.

What do they do?

Take the robot and go into the city.

Let me say that again.

BABIES TAKE A ROBOT INTO PARIS.

Then the assistant takes another robot and goes after them.

Babies have a giant robot fight in the middle of paris.

BEST. MOVIE. EVER

Oh, and there’s tons of character stuff and chuckie comes full circle, and chaz marries this chick who was coco’s other helper. Watch the movie and it all makes sense.

Oh, and she has a daughter named kimi. In this movie she’s okay.

That’s all,.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

This is one of the few sequels…that is much better then orginal.

It’s just a really good movie.

The character development is stronger with this one. Chuckie is really exporled in this one. His need for a mommy, and why he wants one so bad is really looked at.

Even angelica gets devolvement, after she realizes how evil she can be.

The story is very well done, the jokes are funny, and it’s just a ton of fun to watch.

The main reason this is better than the first one?

Well I said the first one did a big damn movie adventure, but put in on a small, good scale. However, it wasn’t in the bright cheer Rugrats movie. It was still a good movie, and a decent Rugrats film.

However, Rugrats in paris, is a big damn movie, on a huge epic scale. But…it’s in the Rugrats mood. It feels like Rugrats, despite how epic it was. The first one didn’t have that.

To sum it up, Rugrats in paris is a fun sequel that really outshines the original.

GRADE: A

And no, I will not review Rugrats go wild. I think it is a fun film that Is quite decent. But I can’t say too much about it.

Well I can this,

THEY CUT OUT A SONG BY TIM CURRY WHAT THE-

…sorry.

So what do I do next?

I mean , I’ve talked about many films on here, by many companys.

There has to be one company whose films really get me talking. Films I love. Films I can talk tons about . Films I can really go into.

But what company has this?

…I know what I’m gonna do next!

NEXT: PIXAR-ATHON!

Movie Review: The Rugrats movie

Hello, spongey here.

Remember the rugrats?

Rugrats was, in my opinion, one of the best Nicktoons of all times. It showed a interesting and funny POV of babies. The characters were interesting, the stories were fun, and it was very funny,

So nick saw that they had a big hit on their hands. So they did what nick likes to do with their shows…. Besides cancel it I mean  They made a movie!

This, is The Rugrats Movie.
When this movie came out, it was a huge hit. It was the highest grossing non Disney animated film at the time (until the green ogre came along in 2001). And fans consider it a nostalgic classic.

But…is it any good? Let’s see.

I won’t do the nostalgia critic thing and go play by play. But I will go through the movie and talk about the best/most important moments.

The film opens and closes with a spoof of Indiana jones. This is close to the show, with its imagination scenes. This introduces us to the characters, and lets us know this will be more of an adventure than usual.

So, we later learn that didi is getting ready to have a baby. The other babys are excited about the idea of having a new member of their little group.

Angelica, the bitch she is, tells the babies that once dill is born, the parents will forget about tommy, and she tells a bullshit story about Spike once being a human who got neglected when tommy was born.

Then the babies are taken to the hospital to see tommy’s new sibling be born. They are left in a play pen while didi gets things sorted.

Like in the show, they leave the pen, to find something. In this case, their sibling. Then….something happens.
They find themselves in the newborn infantry room….when the babies in there….start to….SING.

Yes, sing. They sing a song called “This world is something new to me” which involves caricrtures of celebrities and of course, dick jokes. It ends with the babies pissing into the air.

It’s weird, makes no sense…and it’s never mentioned again./
..
BIG LIPPED ALI-seriously what the hell was that?

So…yea. Tommy’s brother is born, and he is named dill. Dill ends up annoying the fuck out  of tommy, his friends, and his parents as well.

Then late at night, something happens. Didi and stu try to calm dill down by singing him a lullaby. Tommy however, wants them to tell him a bedtime story. He tries to get their attention, but dill’s lullaby seems to have caught it instead.

After dill is asleep, tommy gets rather depressed and…starts singing a lullaby to himself. Well…that’s…kinda depressing. Then…spike starts howling in the rain.

…I did not expect that.

Anyway, the next day, after a fight with dill, stu reminds dill that he should be responsible and gives him a pocket watch. Thankfully, stu did not hide it in his ass for 7 years. This scene is rather touching, and it becomes important later on, you’ll see.

Oh, and stu made this reptar wagon thing for his toy company. The babies are messing around with this when tommy shows up and sees they are planning to take dill back to the hospital, since as babies, they don’t get birth.

Angelica shows up and sees all the babies In the wagon, and kicks it so the wagon rolls away from the house (the door is open because these parents suck) and into the city. Angelica realizes her Cynthia doll was in the wagon, so she goes all Sherlock and runs after them.

To make a long story short, the babies get lost  in the nearby Forrest  and the parents finally realize they suck at parenting and call a search for the babies.

Oh, and there’s an asshole news reported named rex pester…voiced by Tim Curry. Yea, he’s pretty funny…though I’ll admit his character is kind of pointless.

Oh, the owners of a circus angelica wanted to go to, end up having their monkeys steal their train and get lost in the Forrest. When this scene first happens it’s really odd….but then it becomes important.

After tons of stuff happens with the babies, they come across the train were the monkeys pop up and we get …the song Witch doctor, only about monkeys.

Okay…
They have fun with the monkeys, but tommy has to feed dill, much to his dismay. What is he feeding him?
Bananas.

This goes as well as you expect.

The moneys steal this baby bag thing, and tommy goes to get it. While he’s gone, the monkeys steal dill. When tommy comes and finds this out, the other babies tell tommy that they hate dill, and that tommy is neglecting his friends for him. Tommy looks to chuckie for help and…chuckie agrees with them.

Before you comment on that, I must talk about the next scene..

Tommy finds dill and drags him into a hiding spot from the rain. He tries to share his bottle, and blanket with dill, but dill takes all of both. This becomes the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Tommy takes dill outside, throws away his responsibility watch, and almost pours banana baby food on Dil, which would attract a group of vicious monkeys to harm him. (This parallels the Sacrifice of Isaac.)
Tommy sees dills face, and drags him back in, and they share the blanket, after tommy sings a lullaby.

…okay, this is officially the most depressing movie ever.

Going into this movie, I expected a fun adventure. I got one…along with really tear jerking scenes! Seriously, this movie actually made me shed a tear once.

It did this on the 1st time. Toy story 3 did not.

Oh yeah ,I went there!

This is one hell of a depressing film.

Oh, and the babies are trying to find the “lizard” (I find it funny when they say words wrong) to grant them a wish, so they can go home.

Long story short, they end up on a bridge with a wolf, who was seen stalking them through the entire film. Spike shows up and tries to fight the wolf….but they both go under, leading to another really sad scene.

Then Stu shows up on his flying machine dragon thing he made (It makes sense in context) and crashes nearby. The babies think stu is the “lizard” and ask tommy to make his wish.

Earlier in the film, Tommy was debating if he should wish dill back (this was after the monkeys took him) or wish them all home.  And now tommy wishes…that spike was back.

I’m not crying, I’m just sweating through my eyes.

So stu crashes through the bridge, showing that spike (and the wolf) landed safely. Well that was anti-climactic.

So the adults show up, the babies are saved, the circus guys get the monkeys, tim curry is mauled by monkeys, Anglicia gets her doll, and tommy learns responsibly. the film ends on another Indiana jones spoof, this time with dlll helping them out.

That’s the movie in a nutshell.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

As far movies based on cartoons go, this is one of the best. While it does have Big Damn movie all over it, it’s still really good. The show’s characters become fully fleshed out in here, especially tommy, who really shines in this.
I
t takes what makes the show good, and adds to it. It’s a big adventure, but it’s not like they are finding the holy grail or anything. The opening is there to tell you that this won’t be a huge epic adventure, but a small scale one.

It stills feel like the show, since getting lost in the forest isn’t quite farfetched.

Oh, and I love how it tugs at your heart strings and makes you feel for these characters. This movie made me cry more than half the babies in this!

In fact, that should be on the back of the blu ray once it comes out,  WHICH I SHOULD, NICK.

“It’ll make you cry like a baby!”-Some loser online

COME AT ME BRO

A look at some TV in 2011

Hello, Spongey here.
So, 2011 is pretty much over. Sure, we still have plenty of stuff to do, but this is around when we talk how awesome/terrible 2011 was. Some really interesting events happened:
Steve jobs died. Osama died. SOPA reared its ugly head.
And other shit happened.
2011 was important. And of course, all I care about is the mindless entertainment that came out.
I’ll do two blogs about this subject.
You think I would talk about the best movies of the year…well I will.
But I’m more of a TV guy, and TV was great this year!
Tons of good shows aired, and already airing shows had good episodes.
So what I will do, is go through all the important (to me) networks and go through the most important (to me) shows and talk about the great stuff they put out.
This is all strictly my opinion and tons of stuff people talk about will be omitted…cuz I still haven’t seen all that breaking bad stuff and…other shows.
This will be mostly kids shows ….as I’m mentally 5 years old. So if you actually watch smart, well written adult shows….WHY ARE YOU READING MY BLOG TO BEGIN WITH?!
So anyway, here we go
This is 2011 in TV.
NBC;
I only watch one show on here religiously…(take that Parks and Rec fans…yeah, I’ve never seen it) and that is, of course.
COMMUNITY:
Yeah, you all saw this coming. I recently got into the series, just in time to see it go into it’s third season. I can’t point out why I love this show so much. Maybe it’s because it’s smartly written? Maybe because it takes TV conventions and twists them around? Maybe because it’s by geeks, for geeks?
Nah, we all know it’s cuz Annie is hot.
Anyway, two episodes this year stood out to me.
“Remedial chaos theory” and “Regional Holiday Music. The former features a housewarming party for Troy and Abed panning out in seven alternate timelines. Each timeline explored the effect of the absence/presence of a character on other characters in similar situations. It was funny, very well written, and tons of fun. And of course it started the “evil troy and evil abed” meme. Look it up.
The latter is a Christmas ep, which is hard to explain. After Greendale's glee club members become incapacitated, the study group are asked to join. Despite their dislike of the club, each of them are lured into joining after their vulnerabilities are exploited. It’s basically “Gee” meets invasion of the body snatches. It also makes fun off glee, and I dislike glee, so this ep is great.
Oh, and it’s a musical.
Yeah, that’s all I need to say. Great show with two really great episodes. Well there is one more..
FUCK YOU NBC FOR PUTTING THIS HIATU
I will be skipping most channels people want me to talk about like fox. Why? Well…..i said great and important shows. *RIMSHOT*. But really, I can’t say too much about shows like Family guy or the simpsons. They had some decent episodes, but none great, minus one ep of family guy which…well you can look it up.
Comedy Central:
I only watch three actual shows here. I won’t talk futurma…cuz I missed most of the season. What I saw was great though! And I don’t have much to say about workaholics, thought it is very good.
So here’s the obvious one..
SOUTH PARK:
South park had its 15th season this year. It was a pretty decent season. It could have been better, but it’s still really good. There were tons of good episodes, but no episodes stood out to me more then..
“You’re getting old”. If you are a south park fan you KNOW what I mean. The episode starts out as funny satire. Stan gets sad and shit, and south park makes of Adam Sandler’s jack and jill, which everyone thought was made up by south park. Oh I wish…
Anyway, the episode is full of funny jokes, and the normal stuff. But at the very end,…they hit you with a scene so….depressing.
If there’s one show that should not make you cry, it’s south park. But lo and behold, they fucking did it. They made people cry of depression.
And worst of all…THIS WAS THE FIRST EPISODE BEFORE THE MID SEASON BREAK. Yes, we spent months waiting for the show to come back, and the last episode was depressing as hell.
God bless you, South Park.
TEENICK
No, not TeenNick. Teenick. That’s what the logo says!
Okay, no great new shows aired on this channel….but something else aired on it.
I am speaking of course, of the block “90’s are all that”
You all know about this.
This new block showed 90’s nick shows for 2 hours. They’ve shown all the greats at least once…but they only showed a few episodes of Are you afraid of the dark around Halloween, and only this week are they airing more. Bah.
But still, 90s are all that is great. I like watching these shows again,. But that’s not the best part!
They recently brought back u pick with stick Stickly! You vote online for the shows you want. Stick hosted this every Friday. Of course, he was updated for modern day….but it was funny no one cared. He even made REALLY dirty jokes, and one time it was HEAVILY implied he said the F word…and the bit itself spoofed jersey shore.
It’s better than it sounds.
So yeah, 90’s are all that Is awesome, so thus, teenick is awesome.
The Hub:
Before we get to THAT show, we have to talk about the other shows.
Yes, believe it or not, the hub has OTHER shows!
Shocking, I know..
DAN VS:
This show premiered this year. It may be …my fave cartoon on TV right now….besides you know what. It’s about a angry man named dan, who thinks the world is out to get him. So…he gets the world back!
In every episode, Dan gets revenge on whatever he think has wronged him. This ranges from his imposter, the wolfman…and Canada,.
Yes.
There’s tons of things I can talk about with this show. But I’ll just say it’s amazing and leave it at that,.
Since every episode aired this year, it’s hard to choose an important one for this year. I mean, I’d just be choosing MY fave instead of one that really wow’d fans. But hell, I’ll do it anyway.
My fave was “Dan Vs George Washington”. The entire concept is funny, and the execution is just as good as it sounds. Dan is at his best here. I can’t say anything without spoiling it. It must be seen to get the full experience.
Other great episodes include “Dan Vs the mall santa” and “Dan vs Dan”
Next!
RL STINE’S THE HAUNTING HOUR:
I plan on doing a entire blog about this show later, so I won’t say too much now. But I will say that this show is really….good! it can be creepy at times, it’s well acted, and the stories are very interesting. I love the camp of goosebumps, but this is actually good. . The Haunting Hour is a continuation of theanthology shows of the old days like the Twilight Zone Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and Tales from the Crypt. Though it’s more of the Tales from the crypt side, than the Are you afraid of the dark side. Mainly cuz it’s not cheesy or namry (most of the time). It’s quite a treat.
The one episode that really stood out to me, is “Flight”. I won’t go into too much detail, because you really have to see it for youself. This episode falls on the twilight zone side of things….and there is no gremlin on the plane….or motherfucking snakes. It’s also…deep.
Yes, really.
Anyway …that’s it for the haunting hour. Check it out!
Now for the hub show everyone talks about..
Pound puppies!
..just kidding.
MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC:
Okay, I held this over to piss you off. I do really like this show, as stated in the past.
I’ll just talk about the show. Can anyone bring up the show without talking the fans?!
Anyway….this show, is very good, and it started it’s 2nd season this year. It’s still good as always, and it’s been very funny, and epic. Though, for whatever reason …fans complain about two recent episodes, “may the best pet win” and the “mysterious mare do well” for some odd reason. But hey, we’re not talking about the fans. No, I’m too high class for that shit.
Anyway, the episode I think is most important is..
"The Cutie Mark Chronicles"
Yes, this is season 1, but it aired this year, so it counts!
This episode is just really good. It shows us the mane 6 got their cutie marks. Each story tells us a bit more about the characters, and that good stuff.
And it reveals something great….Young Rainbow dash made a big sonic rainboom…which all the young ponies saw when they got their cutie mark…and many of them got said mark with the help of said rainboom. And most all….rainbow dash made it in a race…which she did for fluttershy’s honor.
Yes, FLUTTERSHY Is the reason the show even happened
Fluttershy, truly is…the best pony.
Cartoon Network.
ADVENTURE TIME
Now….this show is in 3rd season, and…well I think it’s hit a rut. BUT, there have been great episodes this year, and I’ll talk about them,.
I can’t really choose one episode…because a lot of great, important episodes aired! So, I will talk about the ones I can say a lot about personally.
I will briefly mention the season 2 finale, which was really good…but something happened in it that greatly changed the status qou of the series….then that change isn’t seen again until a few episodes later…then that change is reversed.
…makes sense to me
Yea, let’s talk about a different episode…
What Was Missing”
This episode was mentioned on AT’s wiki as a musical…and their source said “eh, It’s kind one, there’s a couple songs in it”.
Why does a great show bring me much confusion?
Anyways, finn, jake, bumlegum, and Marceline form a band in order to defeat the Door Lord and recover what was stolen from them….it makes sense in context.
It was very funny, and the like two songs are great and stuff.
Oh, and one of the songs about Marceline hatin’ on Bubblegum…sounded slighty sexual.
Cue 34!
However, there’s more..
You see, this…chick who works on the show, does these video recaps of episodes, showing cool behind the scenes stuff, such as storyboards. For this episode, she asked the viewer….if they like the pairing of Marceline/Bubblegum and showed slighty suggestive art….
Yes, that is all true. Someone who works on the show, likes, and teases a slash pairing.
At least it’s not like the guy who worked on Ed, Edd, N Eddy that did art of the eds kissing.
….look it up.
Oh, did I mentioned the show's producer, Fred Seibert, got pissed at that video and had it taken down?
…I was going to mention my personal fave….but this is so….crazy, that it’s honestly more worth talking about than Fiona and cake.
That episode was great though.
THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW:
…Yea, this one will be awkward
As soon as this show was announced, looney tunes fans bitches and moaned. Even when all that was out was a one picture. They hated just the fact that they tried to something DIFFERENT then something we’ve seen before
Than the show Came out…and it got WORSE.
People complained about the sitcom setting, the characters being OOC, and even minor things I won’t get into,.
But now that’s all in the past. The show has it’s fans, and the hatedom has died down a bit,
So I’ll just talk about the most important episode
Casa de Calma”
Tons of people adore this episode. Why? It has tons of slapstick, looney tunes humor
Yep, it’s all because it resembles the classics.
The episode itself is pretty good, though I think it’s overrated.
If the writers wanted to something like trye shorts…then do that! If they want to do a new style. You know, something that hasn’t been done with this property before,. Then do that. Don’t go with one, then do another suddenly
But still, it’s a good episode, and important because this tells us about the fanbase/hatedom.
Yea, decent show to be honest
(I found bring up regular show, but there’s not too much to say about, but it’s been great)
THUDERCATS
When this show was announced…the reaction was mixed. Remaking thundercats seemed like a bad idea.
Then they saw the pilot. It was…amazing
(it’s also the episode I have chosen!)
The pilot showed what makes this show work. It takes the original show and makes something new and really cool. The animated is freaking amazing to look at, and the whole feel is just epic.
Plus, it has tear jerking moments, as well awesome ones.
Oh, and the original VA for Lion-o is lion-o’s DAD here. That’s a nice treat!
The rest of the show is also very good. I’ve heard complaints about some aspects, like lion-o getting a lot of focus…which is like complain that spongebob focuses on spoingebob.
The show works quite well on it’s own merits. And unlike the original, it can be appreciated for more than just 80’s cheese.
Plus, there’s a couple aspects better than the original show..
Cheetra is MUCH hotter
YOUNG JUSTICE.
This is one of those shows that I didn’t expect to like as much as I do. I’m not a big fan of shows like this, at least not enough follow it every week.
I don’t have much to say about it, but it’s got good action, good characters, and of course, really good animation.
And , Greg Weisman, of gargoyles fame works on it! That alone is amazing.
Oh, and / Jesse McCartney/ is robin. He’s…kind of good!
Makes up for thedore, doesn’t it?
There may be more important episodes then the one I choose, but this is the episode that got me into the show. It’s called “Targets” and it’s something you must see to get the full experience. It involves a previously seen villain…ess known as Cheshire. She’s very cool…and kinda hot.
She is voiced by my celberaty crush of choice, Kelly hu. Oh, Kelly hu
….shit, I was in Kelly land again.
To put it short, very decent show here!
BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOL:
This is the best batman cartoon since the 90’s animated series. It’s action packed, really funny, strange, well written, and it combines the campy adam west show, with the good writing of the 90’s series.
It ended this year, and had a series finale.
That’s the episode I have chosen.
You see, there is a character known as batmite. He is a fanboy who hangs it with batman (Deidrich bader, who is also albert on Phineas and ferb.). he is from the 5th dimension, where this show is …well a show, just like with us. Only he has mutli dimensional powers
In this episode, he grows bored with the show and feels it has dropped the shark. So he must use his powers to make the show worse so CN Will cancel. However, another obscure hero, called ambush bug (voiced by the original shark jumped, henry winkler) tries to stop him.
The entire episode is filled with in jokes for long time fans, and several great moments, and take that’s to people who want dark batman shows that have been done too much,
At the end, the show is canceled, and batmite wins. However, he is told that a goofy person like him does not fit in a dark show. So he goes into nothing.
Downer ending? Not quite…,
Every character gathers in a room, to get ready to go away forever. What does batman say?
Batman: So, this really is the end?
Ambush Bug: 'Fraid so. At least you can say you had a good run.
Batman: A great run.
Batman also tells a great speech. But …it’s quite tear jerking. Also I can’t find a script for it.
Overall, great show with a good finale!
Disney channel
Okay, before we get to the show you all want, I need to talk about…the live action stuff. I know, but c’om, it’s MY opinion, after all!
Actually, only one. I know I like two others, but I can’t say too much besides what I already said.
THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK:
I’ll just cut to the chase with this one. This is still a decent spin off, and I think it’s good enough. It sadly ended this year. And with wizards ending …in a few weeks, good luck Charlie will be the only genuine good live action show on the channel.
Anyway, lets get to the episode I wish to talk about…
The series finale. Forget the title.
If you are like me, and have been with this show for a while, then this finale will /really/ get to you. The ending reminds you of all they’ve been through. And add that to the characters finally getting what they want AND mr mosbey getting an awesome moment by standing up to mr tiptop, and you get a good finale.
Oh…and it may, or may not, have come close to making me cry.
I didn’t, I swear!
…yeah, that’s all I can say.
PHINEAS AND FERB:
Yea, this show is still awesome. Phineas and ferb entered its 3rd season this year and it opened many chances to twist the formula with funny jokes, and great songs.
As for the episode…..i already talked about all 3 important paf event ins my AT2d review and top 20 episode list. But those episodes are…
Rollercoaster the musical, Candace disconnected, and across the 2nd dimension. All amazing episodes, and one great tv movie.
Other great episodes aired, but I can’t say too much about them.
For such a good show, I sure can’t say too much.
Now on to our last big channel..
Nickeloden
Yes, I will talk about the two live actions on Nick I watch. But first…
FAIRLY ODD PARENTS
Let’s forget about that shitty movie, k?
The series had some decent episodes, but today…they aired the series finale!
YAAAAAAAAY
Yea, even I think it should of ended a while ago. Hell, even the movie was a okay way to end the series.
But I still do like, and I am not one THOSE people.
Okay, on to the finale.
Timmy’s parents find out about his fairies, and now he must make sure Jorgen does not know.
This leads to tons of really funny gags, including one with Dinkleberg, which is great.
If you think that timmy will have share his fairs with his parents who grant epic wishes, only for Jorgen to find out, and timmy wishes for the parents memories to be erased then..
You are right.
Yes, this is quite predictable. but it’s really heartwarming to me.
Seeing timmy have fun with parents is great of course. It’s really heartwarming, considering how timmy’s parents treat him at times. And as cliché as this is for FOP, it’s done in a such way I don’t really care.
It has the finale mark all over it. Timmy and his parents show why we loved so much, and they their pre-rot selves a lot here. The ending is a bit of a tear jerking, and it ends on a series finale note.
I won’t say too much, but this was a really good finale. I will miss fop a b it, but I’m glad it’s over, in the best way.
iCARLY
I’m, glad some adults tolerate this show, due to All that’s dan schnieder. It’s not as good as drake and josh. But I still like it.
The episode I chose, is also important as well as my fave ep of, not only the year, but the series as a whole.
You see, fans of this show like to pair the characters up. The two most popular shipping’s are Carly/Freddie and Sam/Freddie. They are also called Creddie and Seddie.
People fight over which shipping is better.
This got bad
I am not joking when I say the icarly fanbase will go down in history as one of the worst ever. seriously. The fights got so bad they forgot the show was a comedy.
What does this have to do with the episode?
It’s called “istart a fan war”
The icarly gang goes to a web convention, where they attend a Q&A. fans suddenly bombard them with questions….credde and seddie. The icarly gang accidentally pisses off the fans, making them think that they hate their fans.
Oh, and meanwhile, spencer has a fight over his fandom with a guy…PLAYED BY JACK BLACK. FUCK YES.
So back to the main plot. I’m not done yet.
At the very end Carly says a speech about how bassicly, while all that romance stuff can be fun, icarly is a comedy, not a romance.

You heard that right, Dan schidnder bassicly told the shippers to shut up
This episode was amazing.
Oh, and the fans hated the episode for “insulting the fans”
Thanks for proving Dan’s point, dipshits.
VICTORIOUS
This show is fairly decent for my tastes. So yeah, I really like.
So what episode did I choose?
Well,…this is about to get…personal.
I believe the episode is called Jade gets crushed.
In the episode, Andre writes a song for jade, and while is she sining it, he…thinks he is falling in love with her. Jade has a boyfriend btw.
Soon he starts thinking if he does love her. At the end, he really thinks, and realizes he was just caught up in the moment, and doesn’t quite love her. Blah blah, really great song, the end.
Why is this my fav e episode?
Well….listen.
On the Phineas and ferb wiki, I was good friends with a user who I will not say the name of. Fairly soon, people were making jokes about us being a couple.
Pretty soon I was really thinking about her, and decided to give in and become a fun couple.
Far into this internet realationship, after seeing a pic of her, I decided, late at night. That I loved her.
But later, she decided we should…well if you watch sitcoms, you know what she said. We should break up for now.
Normally I’d be really sad, and be depressed.
Then I saw the victroius episode.
I realize didn’t quite love her. I was caught up in the exciment. So I decided I was fine with it, and decided to be good friends.
…NEXT
SPONGEBOB
This year, Spongebob entered it’s 8th season.
Remember how I said SB was getting better?
Season 8 is to post movie, what 3 was to pre movie.
Season 8 got the show back on it’s feet, and made it great again. Fans felt this away as well, judging by tv tropes.
The episode I choose isn’t deep or anything, but still really good
Mermaid man begins
In this episode, the mermaid man and barnacleboy show is airing an episode about their origins. Sadly, a storm prevents spongebob and Patrick from watching it. So they ask the real men what their origins are.
I won’t spoil it, but it’s really cool. The episode is filled with some great moments, and insight on the two heroes.
Fun Fact: it’s reveled their real names are Ernie and tim.
Get it?
Oh, and we see the TV’s version of their origins. And…it’s one the funniest things I’ve seen in a cartoon this year.
So Spongebob has finally turned great again, and won fans over…
And nick’s ratings, including spongebob…are going down.
Irony’s a bitch
